1. Coronary Heart Disease & Stroke
Coronary heart disease and stroke are included in cardiovascular disease.Cardiovascular itself means the heart and blood vessels. Previously, infection as adisease that causes death in West Java. But with the antibiotics and the development of hygiene and other coronary heart disease and strokes are then outstanding.
In 1973, the number of patients with rheumatic diseases decreased, while patients with coronary heart disease starts to rise. Infection is one of the causes ofrheumatism. Coronary Heart Disease generally attack at the age of productive andcan lead to sudden death heart attacks.


For Coronary Heart
The cause of coronary heart disease is the narrowing and blockage of coronaryarteries. Narrowing and blockage of the coronary arteries caused by the buildup offatty substances (cholesterol, triglycerides) that more and more and accumulatebeneath the deepest layer (endothelium) of the artery wall. This reduces or stopsblood flow to the heart muscle that disrupts the work of the heart as the pumping of blood. E ffects of coronary heart disease is the dominant loss of oxygen and nutrientsto the heart due to decreased blood flow to the heart. Formation of fatty plaques inarteries will influence the formation of blood clots that will encourage a heart attack.
There are four main factors causing heart disease, namely:
1. Smoking too much over the years
2. levels of blood fats (cholesterol) is high
3. High blood pressure
4. diabetes
To prevent this, there are several factors that can be controlled and not controlled
Factors we can control:

Smoke
High blood pressure
High levels of fat in the blood
Lack of exercise
Uncontrolled diabetes
Stress
Obesity
Aperitif
Factors that we can not control:
Offspring
Age, the older the bigger risk
Gender, men have a higher risk than in women (female risk increases aftermenopause)

Stroke occurs because there is an interruption of blood flow to the brain. If there arebrain regions that lack blood supply suddenly and sufferers experience neuraldisorders according to brain regions affected. The form can be a stroke (hemiplegia), the reduced strength of the members of the body (hemiparesis), impaired speech, impaired taste (sensation) in the skin of the face, arm or leg.
Risk factors for stroke have in common with heart disease risk factors, namely:
Smoke
Hypertension
High blood fat levels
Diabetes mellitus
Disorders of blood vessels / heart
The high number of red blood cells
Overweight (obesity)
Lack of physical activity / sports
Drink alcohol
Drug abuse (Drug)
For prevention of heart disease & stroke avoid obesity and high cholesterol. Start byeating more vegetables, fruits, grains, other fibrous foods and fish. Reduce meat, snacks (snacks), and high-calorie foods and many contain other saturated fats.Foods that contain lots of cholesterol deposited in artery walls and causeatherosclerosis that trigger heart disease and stroke.

- Quitting smoking is the target to be achieved, also avoiding cigarette smoke from theenvironment. Smoking causes reduced blood vessel elasticity, thereby increasing thehardening of the arteries, and increases blood clotting factors that trigger heartdisease and stroke. Smokers have the chance of stroke and coronary heart diseasewas about twice higher compared with nonsmokers.
- Reduce drinking alcohol. The more alcohol consumption, the possibility ofhemorrhagic stroke, especially of the higher. Alcohol can raise blood pressure,weakened heart, thicken the blood and cause arterial spasm.
 - Do Exercise / physical activity. Exercise can help reduce body weight, controllingcholesterol, and lowering blood pressure is another risk factor for heart disease andstroke affected
- Control high blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Hypertension is a major factor of stroke and coronary heart disease. Diabetes also increases the risk of stroke from 1.5 to 4 times as much, especially if uncontrolled blood sugar.-Avoid using illegal drugs such as heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, because thesedrugs drugs may increase the risk of stroke 7-fold compared with non-drug users.
Several kinds of herbs that can be used to prevent heart disease and stroke has the effect of blood circulation and as an anticoagulant which prevents blood clots, heart disease and stroke are the main cause of vascular disorders.Several types of plant medicine and natural materials that can be used to prevent and cope with Heart Disease and Stroke among others:
